SONCAP vs. MANCAP
The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) sets and enforces quality standards for products sold in Nigeria — both imported and locally manufactured.
SONCAP is a mandatory pre-shipment verification scheme for imported products, confirmed via a Product Certificate and a per-shipment SONCAP Certificate issued by SON-accredited firms abroad.
MANCAP is the equivalent scheme for goods manufactured inside Nigeria, certifying your local production process and finished product.
