Tax ID, VAT & Tax Clearance Consultant in Nigeria
Lifehampers helps Nigerian businesses stay tax-compliant under the 2026 tax reforms: confirming your Tax ID, registering for VAT where required, keeping filings on track and obtaining the Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) you need for contracts and permits.

What Changed in 2026
From 1 January 2026 the Federal Inland Revenue Service became the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), and the old Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is being replaced by a unified Tax ID. For individuals it is linked to the NIN, and for companies to the CAC registration number, so newly registered businesses no longer apply for a separate TIN.
What has not changed is the need to file returns and keep a clean record: the Tax Clearance Certificate is still requested for government contracts, oil and gas registrations and many permits.
Tax ID Confirmation
We confirm your business Tax ID is active and correctly linked, including for businesses registered before 2026 that still hold an old TIN.
VAT Registration and Filing
We check whether your business must charge VAT, register it with the NRS where required, and set up a simple routine for monthly filing.
Tax Clearance Certificate
We help you resolve outstanding filings and apply for the TCC that tenders, NIPEX, NUPRC and other registrations ask for.
Who Needs This
New businesses setting up properly, established businesses moving from the old TIN system, and any company bidding for government or oil and gas contracts.
Our Role
We organise your registrations, filings and documents, and work alongside your accountant where you have one. We do not replace professional advice on how much tax you owe.
