You have registered your company with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Now what? Banks ask for a board resolution, investors ask for share certificates, and CAC expects annual returns and up-to-date registers. This pack gives you the documents most new Nigerian companies need in the first year, ready to edit in Word and Excel.

Who it is for

  • Founders who just registered a private limited company
  • Small business owners who never set up their company records properly
  • Accountants and consultants who prepare company records for clients

Why it matters

Proper records make it easier to open bank accounts, bring in partners, apply for loans and contracts, and file annual returns on time. Missing annual returns can lead to penalties, and companies that stay inactive for long periods risk being struck off the register.

What is included

  • 7 board resolution templates: bank account, appoint director, director resignation, allot shares, change address, appoint secretary, approve accounts and call AGM
  • Statutory registers in Excel: members, directors, secretary, persons with significant control, allotments, transfers and charges
  • Share certificate template
  • AGM notice, agenda and minutes template
  • Company compliance calendar: CAC, tax, PAYE, pension, NSITF, ITF and more
  • Post-registration checklist

How to use the Company Post-Registration Compliance Pack (CAC)

  1. Download the pack and open the post-registration checklist first.
  2. Fill your company name, RC number and director details into each resolution and the share certificate.
  3. Enter your members, directors and allotments into the Excel registers and keep them updated whenever anything changes.
  4. Add the dates in the compliance calendar to your diary, or sign up for our free compliance reminders so you get an email before each deadline.

Why not just use a free template?

Free resolutions found online are often written for other countries and refer to the wrong law. This pack follows the structure Nigerian banks and CAC filings expect under CAMA 2020, uses plain English, and keeps all your statutory registers in one workbook instead of loose pages.

Questions

Does this pack work for business names (enterprise)?

Most of it is for private limited companies. Business name owners can still use the compliance calendar and checklist, but board resolutions, share certificates and statutory registers apply to companies.

Do I still need to file annual returns with CAC?

Yes. Every company must file its annual return with CAC. The pack includes a compliance calendar, and our free compliance reminders can email you before the deadline.

How do I get the files?

Right after payment you see download buttons on this page, and we email you a download link that works for 60 days.

Can I edit the templates?

Yes. They are normal Word and Excel files. Add your logo, business details and change anything you need.

Is this legal advice?

No. These are general templates for Nigerian businesses. For important or unusual matters, have a lawyer or accountant review your final documents. Book a consultation if you want us to help.
