Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lifehampers Global Consults (“Lifehampers”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit www.lifehampers.com, contact us, book a consultation or use our business compliance and digital services. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the regulations and directives issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

1. Who We Are

Lifehampers Global Consults is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries and bookings: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in, your message, and your chosen appointment date and time.
  • Newsletter: your email address when you subscribe.
  • Service delivery: when you engage us for registration or compliance work, the details and documents the relevant agency requires. Depending on the service, this may include names, dates of birth, residential addresses, means of identification, passport photographs, signatures, NIN or BVN where required, and details of directors, shareholders, partners or trustees.
  • Digital projects: business information, content, logins or access you choose to share so we can build, manage or support your website, app or system.
  • Payments: records of invoices and payments. We do not store your card details.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information such as browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages and referring website.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 8.
  • Our on-site statistics tool records visits with IP addresses hashed rather than stored in readable form.

Information from others

  • Responses, certificates and correspondence from government agencies and regulators we deal with on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Data and Our Lawful Basis

  • To respond to enquiries and manage appointments — to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • To deliver the services you engage us for, including preparing and filing applications with government agencies — performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations, including record keeping and anti-money laundering requirements that apply to some registrations — legal obligation.
  • To send newsletters and updates — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it — your consent for analytics cookies, and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working.
  • To protect our business and prevent fraud or abuse, such as spam submissions — legitimate interest.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

  • Government agencies and regulators, only as needed to deliver the service you request. Depending on the service, these may include the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), NAFDAC, the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the Trademarks, Patents and Designs Registry, the Nigerian Copyright Commission, SCUML, NESREA, the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), the Nigeria Immigration Service, state revenue and planning authorities, and oil and gas sector regulators.
  • Service providers who help us run our business and website, including our web hosting provider, our email delivery provider (Brevo), Google (Analytics and Maps), WhatsApp (Meta) and our live chat provider. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where necessary.
  • Authorities, where we are required by law or a valid legal process.

5. International Transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we rely on the transfer grounds and safeguards permitted under Part VIII of the NDPA and NDPC directives, and we choose providers that apply appropriate security measures.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Enquiries and appointment records: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
  • Client and service records: for as long as needed to provide the service and afterwards for the period required by law, including tax and regulatory record-keeping rules.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it securely.

7. How We Protect Your Data

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to client files and records, spam and abuse protection on our forms, and confidentiality expectations for our staff and contractors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will respond promptly to any incident. Where a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the NDPC within the time required by the NDPA and, where required, inform you.

8. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies that make the website work, keep it secure and remember your cookie choice. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors use the website. These are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner.
  • Third-party features such as embedded maps, live chat and WhatsApp buttons, which may set their own cookies when you use them.

You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

9. Your Rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is used;
  • access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict or stop processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided to us in a portable format, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out; and
  • lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

To exercise your rights, email info@lifehampers.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our website links to government portals, social media and other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

12. Changes to This Policy
